Stretch marks

It is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.

Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after a treatment as collagen production continues.

The treatment will take roughly 1 hour to complete depending on the size of the area treated.

Immediately following the treatment you will see slight redness and maybe a small amount of swelling. This will normally reduce within a few hours, with only slight redness the following day. You can return to most normal activities that day however we advise;

- You do not use sunbeds or sunbathe for 5 days following the treatment
- Do not use a sauna, steam room or undertake rigorous exercise for 48 hours post treatment

FTG Clinics has a home care range which you can purchase to complement the treatment – your practitioner will advise you of the appropriate aftercare during the consultation stage and straight after treatment.

I’m afraid we are unable to offer this treatment if;

- Patients are under 18 years of age
- Patients pregnant or breast feeding
- Patients whose stretch marks are less than 6 months old
- Patients whose stretch marks are red or silver coloured
- Patients with a history of keloid scarring or hyperpigmentation 

The cost of treatment starts at £295 per session however will vary depending on;

- The type of treatment recommended
- The size of the area treated
- The condition of the skin
 - The number of treatments required
