Meso+ Microneedling

Meso+ microneedling is suitable for most skin types; especially those with acne scars, dull skin, dry skin and sun-damage. The treatment is very effective for restoring elasticity and firmness and targeting wrinkles. Treatment must be postponed if there is any open wounds, active acne or inflammation within the treatment area as skin needling could cause further irritation. 

This varies from person to person as everyone’s pain threshold is different. Some clients feel some discomfort, yet others do not feel anything at all. Meso micro needling is slightly more invasive as it uses metal needles and there are some areas of the face that are more sensitive such as the forehead where the sensation of the needles glide across the skin may cause some discomfort. 

For this treatment we suggest only mature skin types or those with acne scarring. As long as you are over the age of 18 and do not have any inflammation of the skin or open wounds within the treatment area, you will be suitable to have a Meso microneedling treatment. If you are pregnant, we advise you to be out of your first trimester before having this treatment.  

Yes! There is limited downtime associated with needling treatments other than slight redness. This redness will subside within 24 hours, however, we would recommend applying a post treatment cooling mask to reduce redness and maximize results 

On the day of your treatment, you should arrive at FTG Clinics with a clean, makeup free face if possible. Following your treatment you should apply sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher (this should always be applied daily and not just post treatment).

 Gentle cleansers and moisturisers can be used but topical products such as Retinols, Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid should be avoided for 72 hours post treatment.
